The school is situated in the oldest cantonment area. In all its three campuses, at Barrackpore, abundant greenery and the river Ganges near the school renders a serene atmosphere appropriate for a school.
The St. Augustine Education Society, registered under the West Bengal Societies Act, 1961, runs and governs the school, which has Lower Nursery to Class XII affiliated to CISCE (ICSE and ISC), New Delhi, with a roll strength of more than 4600 students. The school is associated with the Anglo – Indian Schools in West Bengal; and has its own Managing Committee which deals with the improvement and development of the school.
We have been ranked # 1 amongst all the schools of the North 24 Parganas, for consecutive four years now, and have secured the 8th position in the list of the top schools of Kolkata as per the survey of Times of India, November 2023. We enjoy the proud recognition of being internationally awarded by the British Council of India for a period of nearly nine years.
