The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor at our school today, with a remarkable program presented by the Pre-Primary section.
The event commenced with a flag hoisting ceremony, which was expertly executed by our youngest learners, the UKG Bunnies. The ceremony was graced by our respected Principal Ma’am Mrs. Shweta Ray, who paid tribute to our nation’s heroes before hoisting the flag. The Bunnies, with their charm, performed their Bunnies Salute while proudly chanting the slogan “Jai Hind”.
Following the flag hoisting, the audience was treated to a vibrant cultural program by the Pre-Primary toddlers. The program began with a warm welcome by our Principal Ma’am, who expressed her gratitude to the esteemed guests for joining this gracious occasion. The cultural presentations included a variety of performances such as dance, music, recitations, and speeches, all centered around the theme of patriotism. A highlight of the event was a mesmerizing fashion show where the children dressed up as iconic freedom fighters, embodying the spirit of independence.
Adding to the grandeur of the event, the teachers presented a special performance, a medley of patriotic songs that was both moving and beautifully executed.
The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by the Pre-Primary Head, Ms. Rishita Nandi, followed by the rendition of the National Anthem. The event was a resounding success, with parents expressing their happiness and appreciation for the efforts put in by the children and teachers.
