Christmas is not just a festival; it is a season of joy, compassion, and togetherness. At St. Augustine’s Day School, Barrackpore, this spirit came alive on 20th December 2025, when the entire school community gathered for the much-awaited Pre-Christmas Celebration. From the tiniest tots of Pre-Primary to the confident seniors, every student became a shining star of the evening. The campus transformed into a wonderland of festive cheer, echoing with laughter, music, and the timeless message of Christmas—love, hope, and giving.

This grand celebration was not merely an event; it was a heartfelt experience that united students, teachers, parents, and guests in a beautiful tapestry of joy and gratitude.

A Festival of Love and Light- The Campus – A Wonderland of Festivity

The school campus wore a magical look, adorned with twinkling lights, colourful streamers, and vibrant Christmas decorations. The air was filled with the fragrance of fresh flowers and the warmth of festive colours. Every corner radiated happiness—whether it was the dazzling Christmas tree, the cheerful Santa posters, or the sparkling stars hanging above.
The decorations were not just aesthetic; they symbolized the spirit of togetherness. Teachers and students worked hand in hand to create this enchanting atmosphere, proving that when hearts unite, magic happens.

Pre-Primary Section – Innocence in Full Bloom

Their tiny voices and radiant smiles captivated the audience, spreading pure joy across the campus.

The highlight was not just their performance but the confidence they displayed. These young stars reminded everyone that Christmas is about simple joys—the sparkle in a child’s eye, the laughter of friends, and the warmth of family.

Adding to the grandeur was the presence of distinguished guests:

    Ms. Iman Chakraborty, celebrated singer

    Ms. Jyatirmoi Kundu, renowned actress

Mr. Subhadeep Das, popular script writer

Their gracious presence inspired the young performers and elevated the festive spirit.

A unique fashion show showcased the creativity of young minds, with children walking the stage in imaginative costumes that reflected the joy of Christmas. The Nativity Play, beautifully enacted by these little ones, reminded everyone of the true essence of Christmas—the birth of Jesus Christ and the message of peace and goodwill.
