St. Augustine’s Day School, Barrackpore proudly hosted its Annual Prize Distribution and Investiture Ceremony on 5th April 2025 at the Bikas Basu Smriti Convention Centre, Ichhapore. The event, conducted in three meticulously planned sessions, was a vibrant celebration of academic excellence, student leadership, and community spirit—reaffirming the institution’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals.
The ceremony commenced with an inspiring Annual School Report presented by Principal Ma’am, Mrs. S. Ray, who reflected on the school’s numerous accomplishments and milestones over the past academic year. Her words set the tone for the day, emphasizing the school’s unwavering dedication to holistic education and student success. A remarkable highlight of the event was the felicitation of nearly 800 students, from Upper Nursery to Class XII, for outstanding academic performance and impeccable attendance. Special categories of recognition included: Commendable Achievement Awards, 5 Years of 100% Attendance, Best in Academics, Best Club Awards These accolades underscore the school’s ongoing pursuit of academic rigour and all-round development.
Inspiring Leadership at the Investiture Ceremony
A key segment of the day was the Investiture Ceremony for the Student Council of 2025–2026. In a moving display of tradition and responsibility, the outgoing council gracefully handed over duties to the newly elected student leaders.
