The Teacher’s Day Celebration at St. Augustine’s Day School Barrackpore, held on 5th September 2024, was a heartfelt and joyous occasion, dedicated to honoring the invaluable contributions of our educators. The day began with a beautiful prayer service followed by a mindfulness meditation session, allowing teachers to rejuvenate their spirits and embrace the day’s festivities with a calm and centered mind.A significant highlight was the screening of a video that emphasized the vital role teachers play in shaping the lives of their students.
The celebration continued with an exhilarating program organized by the Class 12 students. The students showcased their talents through a variety of performances, including music, dance, recitation, rapping, and speeches. Each act was a testament to the students’ creativity and their deep appreciation for their teachers. The program was further enlivened by unique and fun games, specifically designed to bring joy and laughter to the teachers.
To mark the significance of the day, the annual school magazine “FLAMES” was launched by our respected CEO Sir and Principal Ma’am. This launch added a sense of pride and accomplishment to the celebration. The day concluded with a delightful spread of refreshments, leaving the teachers with full hearts, brimming with love, happiness, and the warm memories of a day dedicated to them.
