    On 12th May 2026, St. Augustine’s Day School Barrackpore joyfully celebrated Mother’s Day by organizing a unique Mother and Child Non-Fire Cooking Workshop. The special event was designed to offer mothers a relaxing, memorable day off with their little ones, strengthening their beautiful lifelong bond through shared laughter, activities, and togetherness.

    Special Session with Celebrity Chef Subhasish Roy

    The highlight of the interactive workshop was the presence of renowned Celebrity Chef Subhasish Roy. Under his expert and engaging guidance, enthusiastic mothers and their children teamed up to learn the art of making delicious, healthy Coleslaw Sandwiches without using fire. It was a wonderful hands-on experience that brought out the culinary creativity of our young Augustinians and their multi-talented moms.

    Tokens of Appreciation & Heartfelt Gratitude

    To add more warmth and joy to the occasion, three participating mothers were presented with special gifts as a token of appreciation and encouragement. The event also featured an emotional segment where mothers took to the mic, sharing heartfelt words and expressing their deep gratitude to the school management for organizing such a thoughtful and refreshing initiative.

    The day truly stood as a beautiful tribute to the unconditional love, care, and irreplaceable bond shared between a mother and her child, making this Mother’s Day a deeply meaningful experience for the entire school community.
