Classes VI to VIII – A Grand Finale of Art and Recognition
The third slot of the ABC Prize Day for the session 2025–2026 was dedicated to the students of Classes VI to VIII. The segment commenced on a melodious note with a soulful choir performance featuring semi-classical renditions of Albela Sajan and Jiya Jale. The soothing notes of the flute and sitar, beautifully complemented by the rhythmic beats of the tabla & drums, created an enchanting ambience and set the tone for the celebration.
The Principal, Ms. Shweta Ray, addressed the gathering, inspiring students to continue striving for excellence in all spheres of learning. The CEO, Mr. Amitava Chowdhury, extended his heartfelt congratulations to both students and parents, appreciating their dedication and consistent efforts.
The ceremony was honoured by the presence of the Chief Guest, Mr. Satinath Mukhopadhyay, a renowned reciter, newsreader, and theatre personality. His presence added immense value to the occasion, and his heartfelt performance deeply moved the audience, leaving many touched and emotional. The hall resonated with appreciation as it erupted into a standing ovation.
The cultural segment featured a graceful classical dance duo and a captivating multilingual recitation in English, Hindi, and Bengali, showcasing the students’ artistic flair and confidence. In her Vote of Thanks, the Headmistress, Mrs. Atri Mitra, expressed her sincere appreciation to all those who contributed to the success of the event, acknowledging the collective effort behind such a grand celebration.
More than 350 students were felicitated during this segment, making it a proud and memorable occasion. The event beautifully reflected the spirit of achievement, creativity, and holistic development that the institution strives to nurture in its students.
