    On 8th May 2026, St. Augustine’s Day School, Barrackpore, celebrated its Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony (Session 2025–2026) and the Investiture Ceremony (Session 2026–2027) with immense grandeur and pride at Sukanta Sadan. Conducted in structured slots, the event beautifully reinforced the school's standing as the No. 1 school in the district, serving as a beacon of excellence, integrity, and future leadership.

    The prestigious event was graced by distinguished personalities who added immense dignity and value to the occasion:

    • Mr. Ranjan Bandopadhyay: Eminent guest, prolific writer, and celebrated literary figure.

    The ceremony commenced with the presentation of the Annual School Report by Principal Ma’am, Mrs. S. Ray, who eloquently highlighted the school’s major milestones, academic achievements, and remarkable progress over the past year. This was complemented by a vibrant cultural programme featuring energetic dance performances, soulful musical band presentations, and expressive poetic recitations by the students.

    The Investiture Ceremony: Welcoming the New Student Council

    A significant segment of the event was the formal induction of the Student Council for the academic session 2026–2027. The outgoing council members gracefully handed over their badges and flags, symbolizing a seamless transition of leadership, commitment, and responsibility to the incoming student leaders.

    • Commendable Performance Awards: A major highlight recognizing students who demonstrated a remarkable hike in percentage from the Half-Yearly to the Annual examinations through consistent effort and perseverance.
