World Oral Health Day 2026
World Oral Health Day 2026 was celebrated on 20th March 2026 at St. Augustine’s Day School – Barrackpore by the Pre‑Primary and Primary students with great enthusiasm and active participation. The event aimed to spread awareness about the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene and instilling healthy dental habits in children from an early age.
🦷 Special Assembly Highlights The celebration began with a special assembly where our young learners: • Delivered short speeches on oral health. • Presented a cheerful song emphasizing dental care. • Performed a lively dance showcasing the importance of oral hygiene. These creative performances helped students understand the significance of keeping their teeth strong and clean in a fun and engaging way.
📋 Do’s and Don’ts Board Students also prepared a colorful “Do’s and Don’ts” board, displaying healthy habits for maintaining oral hygiene. This interactive activity encouraged children to adopt practices such as: • Brushing teeth twice daily. • Avoiding excessive sweets. • Visiting the dentist regularly.
🎉 Fun Meets Learning Through these engaging activities, children not only learned how to take proper care of their teeth but also realized the lifelong importance of oral hygiene. The celebration was both educational and enjoyable, making it a truly joyful learning experience where fun met knowledge.
