On the vibrant occasion of Children’s Day, the Middle and Senior school teachers at St. Augustine’s Day School Barrackpore organized a series of exquisite and entertaining programs for their students. The Conrad Hall of the school came alive with diverse activities, spread across different slots to ensure everyone could participate and enjoy.

Students and staff alike were treated to a delightful array of musical performances, audio plays, recitations, puppet shows, games, and prizes. The atmosphere was filled with loving wishes and joyous celebrations, making it a day to remember.

Principal Ma’am Ms. Shweta Ray addressed the students with an inspiring speech, encouraging them to embrace the bliss and innocence of childhood. Her heartfelt words resonated with the audience, and the students responded with enthusiastic applause, expressing their gratitude to their loving mentors for making the day so special and memorable.

A highlight of the day was the special performance by the ‘Gaanawala Band,’ exclusively for the students of Classes X to XII. Their lively and engaging performance added an extra layer of enjoyment to the festivities, making the day even more special for the older students.

The event was a resounding success, leaving students with fond memories and a renewed appreciation for the care and dedication of their teachers. As the celebrations came to a close, everyone departed with smiles on their faces, reflecting the joy and warmth of the occasion.

Wishing a very Happy Children’s Day to everyone! This event not only brought joy to the students but also highlighted the strong bond between the teachers and their students, making it a day to cherish for years to come.
