Celebrating Excellence at St. Augustine's Day School, Barrackpore
At St. Augustine’s Day School, Barrackpore, every achievement is a reflection of dedication, perseverance, and the pursuit of excellence. On this memorable occasion, our school proudly hosted “The Unstoppables” – Achievers Felicitation Programme 2026, a special ceremony dedicated to recognising the exceptional accomplishments of our students in academics, competitive examinations, sports, and co-curricular activities.
The programme honoured 48 outstanding students whose hard work, determination, and commitment have brought pride to the school community. It was a day filled with inspiration, appreciation, and celebration as students, teachers, parents, and school leaders came together to applaud these remarkable young achievers.
Honouring Excellence Across Multiple Categories
To recognise achievements at different levels, students were felicitated under four distinguished categories:
Promising Achievers
This category celebrated students who have excelled at the regional level, demonstrating exceptional talent and dedication across various academic and co-curricular disciplines.
Stellar Achievers
Students who earned recognition at the national level were honoured as Stellar Achievers for their outstanding performances and their ability to represent the school with excellence on larger platforms.
Academic Achievers
The programme also recognised students who achieved remarkable success in one of India’s most competitive examinations, JEE Main. Their accomplishment reflects years of disciplined preparation, determination, and academic excellence.
Phenomenal Achievers
The highest honours of the evening were presented to two students whose extraordinary achievements have become a source of inspiration for the entire school community.
Ushan Sarkar was felicitated for securing an impressive All India Rank 301 in JEE Advanced, a milestone that showcases exceptional academic brilliance and unwavering commitment.
Biraj Dutta received special recognition for winning the Bronze Medal at the 69th National School Games while representing CISCE at the championship organised by the School Games Federation of India (SGFI). His achievement reflects the spirit of determination, discipline, and sporting excellence.
Inspiring Words from the School Leadership
The ceremony became even more meaningful with the presence of our respected President Ma’am, Ms. Janet Gasper Chowdhury, whose inspiring address encouraged students to remain focused, embrace challenges, and continue striving for greater success. Her words reminded every student that true achievement comes through perseverance, integrity, and continuous learning.
Our Principal Ma’am, Ms. Shweta Ray, also addressed the gathering with an uplifting message, encouraging students to dream fearlessly, work consistently, and believe in their own potential. She emphasised that every milestone achieved today serves as the foundation for even greater accomplishments in the future.
